Calendars

Attached you will find the tentative itineraries of the TerraStar and the Jupiter Three, using both the Terrestrial Calendar and the Martian Calendar. The Martian Calendar is based on the Darian Calendar proposed by Thomas Gangale in the late Twentieth/early Twenty First centuries. The Darian Calendar has been chosen specifically for its potential as an effective basis for a Jovian Calendar, as argued by Gangale.

All ship accelerations have been calculated assuming that deceleration will begin at midway for each ship.

The TerraStar will be decreasing its on board gravity until gravity reaches 67.5% of Earth gravity. The Jupiter Three will increase its on board gravity until gravity reaches 67.5% of Earth gravity (179.5% of Martian gravity). This value has been determined by the project team as the optimal value for a joint Earth/Mars colony.
